Pray

When reading in Matthew this morning, I couldn't help but think of this sweet family. They have been such an example of trusting Christ through suffering to Joel and I.
May these verses encourage us all to bring them before the Father.

"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened. Or what man is there among you who, when his son asks for a loaf, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, he will not give him a snake, will he? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him!"
Matt. 7:7-11

Nursery

We are almost finished with the nursery. We put up the wall decal tonight and it made things seem very real. We just have a few finishing touches and we will be DONE! I can't believe that our son will be sleeping in there in less than 2 months. Praise the Lord for His kindness to us over these last 32 weeks!

Sugar Baby

Here are some updates on sweet baby Jedidiah:
  • At 29 weeks we went to the doctor for my Glucola and 4d ultrasound.
  • Good news- He is about 3 1/2 pounds and head down like he is supposed to be
  • He was completely uncooperative for his photo shoot, but we did find out he has some hair and see some sweet little features when his hands weren't in his face
  • Bad news- I failed my Glucola test for gestational diabetes
  • At 30 weeks I took my 3 hour glucose test. After feeling terrible in the waiting room for 3 hours, I did find out that I passed. I celebrated with a hot fudge sundae from TCBY on Friday and a Jerry's supreme snowcone on Saturday!!
  • I am now 31 weeks and feeling pretty good. He is very active and it's so fun to watch him move around so much.
  • Also, we ALMOST have the nursery finished. I will post pics soon.
  • 2 more months and we get to meet this sweet lil boy!!

Genesis 15:6

" And Abraham believed God and it was credited to him as righteousness."

God continues to expose my unbelief. This past Sunday, He drew 22 kids to Himself to hear this word proclaimed. He is so faithful and does far more abundantly than we could ever ask or imagine. Pray for these kids. Pray that they would believe God and that it would be credited to them as righteousness. Pray that they would understand 2 Corinthians 5:21," He made Him who know no sin to be sin on our behalf so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him."Check Spelling
